When is my card charged?
Only when your color's run reaches 50 units. Until then your card is saved securely with Stripe and $0 is charged.
Why does each color have its own run?
Our manufacturer cuts one fabric color per production run. Sizes can mix freely, colors can't — so Teal and Black Nomads each fill their own run of 50.
What if an order pushes a run past 50?
We keep your order together. If you're at #49 and order three, the run closes at 51 and all three ship with it — we size the purchase order to match.
What if my run doesn't fill?
If a run hasn't reached 50 within 60 days of opening, its pre-orders are cancelled automatically. Nothing is charged.
Can I change my size or cancel?
Yes — any time before your run fills, from your account, at no cost. Once the run locks it goes straight to production, so sizes are final at that point.
I ordered two colors. Do they ship together?
Each piece ships when its own run is finished, so different colors may arrive separately.
Do you offer refunds?
No cash refunds — every piece is made to order. Within 30 days of delivery you can exchange for another size, or return unworn pieces (tags on) for DMT store credit at the full item price. Custom-hemmed pairs are final sale.
How does store credit work?
It lives in your DMT account at the full item price and applies at checkout on any future run or in-stock piece.
What's the difference between Regular and Tall?
For tops and outerwear, Regular already runs about ½" long and Tall keeps the same chest and shoulders with a longer body and sleeve for 6'2"+ frames. Jeans work differently — see below, or the fit guide.
How long are the jeans?
Nomad Jeans are sized by waist. Waist 30–33 comes with a 34" inseam; waist 34–40 comes with a 36" inseam. If that isn't exactly your length, any local tailor can hem them — or choose our custom hem.
Can you hem my jeans to my exact inseam?
Yes — add Custom Hem (+$25 per pair) on the product page or in your cart, and enter your exact finished inseam at checkout. We can shorten from the standard length, not lengthen. We hem after production, so hemmed pairs ship about a week later (9–11 weeks after the run fills). Custom-hemmed pairs are final sale — no exchanges or store credit.
What does "Gen-1" mean?
Gen-1 is our first generation of patterns — the fit, grading and construction behind Drop 001. A drop is a release; a Gen is a version of the fit. As we refine the fit from your feedback, it becomes Gen-2. You'll find it on every label and in each product's specs.
Where is it made?
Cut and sewn in the USA in small runs — exactly the quantity pre-ordered, nothing sitting in a warehouse.
